Update for Bariatric Surgery (part 5)

Today is the day. I'm nervous about today. Hopefully it goes smoothly. I am nervous because it's the day I find out my surgery date. And, for those who are joining, I'm having the gastric bypass done. Yeah. I've been told that I shouldn't do it because I'm losing the weight on my one. Actually, I'm not doing it on my own. It's VERY hard to do it on my own especially if I don't see it comin' off like at this moment. I'm eating right and my calories is still at 1400 and exercising. I haven't lost any inches or lost any more pounds. Hm. So, I believe this surgery will help me out. It will teach me how to eat smaller quantity. Anyway, I will know for sure today what day is my surgery. I'm just praying right now that my weight won't go back up. Okay. Will write again later. =) Have a great day, y'all. =)

Some good news

This morning I get a call from Village Surgical. Ms Barbara informed me that she has indeed contacted TriCare and spoke with them about my case. She then informed me that TriCare had the wrong codes on me and that is why I was voided. WTH?! So, Ms Barbara told me that they put the surgery code as "outpatient surgery" and not "inpatient surgery". WTH, TriCare?! *shakes my head* Then Ms Barbara informed me that we are now going to have to wait another two or three days to hear the final word from TriCare if I'm a "go/no go" for surgery. I'm praying that I'm a "go" instead of a "no go". Well, just a few minutes ago, I've been in a very debatable mood. I've been debating with one of the bariatric ladies. I finally revealed as to why I need the surgery. What I'm going through and what I've gone through, people won't understand nor can they put themselves in my position. Some people think they know all the answers and what to do and keep going based on that saying "If you fail, get right back up and try try again". Well, I'm no longer in that category. The gettin' up and try-try again ain't workin' for me. So I've moved on. I never knew in my entire life I would need surgery. However, it seems like the case now. I need surgery to help me. I do have support. I have my wonderful and supportive husband. I also have my mom and dad. They know what I'm going through. My parents have been there since all my problems started when I was 2 yrs old. Now, my husband has taken over with the problems that are going on now and I love him for being supportive and helping me with this long adventure of how to solve the medical problems with me. Well, I need to go do something productive. Hubby suggested swimming. I think we will go do that. =)

A bit ticked off and hurt

It seems like people have a bad habit of talking about others behind one's back. It's even more sad when that person can't go straight up to you and asked you what was literally stated..just in case that particular person does recall. Well, not in this case. I'm now being accused of lying to a family friend. WTH?! I have NOT lied to anyone more less a family friend. So, this family friend and I was conversing one day and I informed him that Tim and I do NOT live in Georgia and that we live 4 hours from most of the towns/cities in Georgia (2hrs from the state line). Last night, Tim gets a call from his brother asking him if he is ready for some drama crap then told him that one of the family friends had a discussion with another family friend. Both of 'em were upset and one of 'em accused me of lying and stating that none of us are in Georgia. Wrong. So bloody wrong. If the family friends would seriously LISTEN to what I've said then this crap wouldn't have started. HOWEVER, since people want to hear what they wanted to hear, I'm being called a liar. Well, ya know what, screw it. I'm done. If people want to call me a liar and whatnot then I guess I should go on my merry way and just ignore people who ask about my husband. If they want his info for when he deploys, they just ain't gettin' it. I don't care anymore. Yes, being called a liar when I'm not does hurt. And, hurts more when people can't bloody ask me what was actually said since I know for darn fact what I said and I recall what was said as well. Then the other family friend has the nerve to tell MY husband that I'm talking to him via facebook email. I haven't talked to him or spoke for my husband since the beginning of his last deployment which was back in 2009. Blah! Okay. I'm done with the ranting for now.......fed up with it. So fed up with it. I don't need that kind of crap in my life. No way. *walks away, emotionally hurt*

Update for Bariatric Surgery (part 3?)

Today, I've called TriCare for the third time to find out what my status is for the surgery I need to have. I'm planning on gettin' the RNY (Gastric Bypass). I find out that my paperwork that was submitted was voided. What the hell? I'm not denied nor approved. Yet, I get voided. Something wrong with this picture? I contacted Village Surgical and talked to my POC. She brought up my information then stated that she hasn't received anything from TriCare to state if I'm approved or not. I had to inform her what TriCare told me which I called them few minutes before calling her. She then asked me if I have hypertension and diabetes. I told her I have high blood pressure (hypertension), insulin resistance (I guess it's the new diabetes?), PCOS, mild sleep apnea, and mild GERD. Yes, all problems that cause gain weight and the whole shebang. I do have a hard time trying to lose weight on my own. So, now I have nothing to do but to wait even more. I've been waiting since July 6th. My husband is anxious and now gettin' frustrated because I haven't been given a surgery date. I'm very frustrated because I feel like I'm gettin' pulled all over the place and I don't like the feelin'. So, I'm hoping they will tell me something good next week and I'm praying that TriCare will approve me for the surgery. But, we shall see. *sighs*

Relaxing

Wow. It's been like forever! *laughs* Oh well. It's now July 22nd. I'm on vacation with my husband. Granted, we haven't gone anywhere but so what. Vacation is what you make of your time with love ones. Mine is relaxing with my husband and my dog. We moved into our new place on July 1st. YAY! Not stressing so much. Well, I'm still stressing just not a lot like I was before. Since I've moved to this new house, we have been slowly putting it together. Making the place smell very nice and so forth. Currently, I've been in the mood to relax even more. What relaxes me a lot, you ask? Well, quilting and trying to do some types of arts and crafts. So, on pay day, I'm hoping my husband will get me some stuff so I may paint and be creative. I'm in the mood to get ready for the autumn season. I know, I know, it's only July. Hey, autumn will be here soon enough. Trust me, I should know. I'm also can't wait til February/March next year. It will be a great time. Yes it will. Well, will do my best to keep y'all inform as to what is going on. =)
